工学博士 Doctor of Engineering 専門 海岸工学・防災工学・水工学 ・沿岸環境 Coastal Eng., DIsaster Prevention Eng., Hydraulics, Environmental Eng. 特に、沖縄の海岸防災、沿岸環境保全の研究に従事、 関連論文多数。震災後は、「類推、沖縄における大津波災害」 など各地で講演を重ね、防災及び減災活動を行なっている。

Coastal, Hydraulic, Dsaster-Prevention, and Environental Engineering In particular, he engaged in educations and researches on coastal disaster prevention and coastal environmental conservation in Okinawa. After the 2011 Tohoku Tsunami disaster, he has repeatedly been presenting so many lectures at various opportunities, on "the huge-tsunami disaster in Okinawa", and been suggesting disaster prevention and mitigation activities. Numerical simulations on river flooding and wave phenomena along coastal areas are the current topics. He has also been publishing many papers on the related fields.
